I must say Monty somehow came off more like the average normal dog with a growl more so than he actually is. He has nipped, barked, and growled his way to the top as far as I am concerned, and must have had his agent make sure his horrible freakiness ended up on the cutting room floor. I am sorry Margie but you know it's true. I feel you might have bought off his bad behavior so it somehow ended up edited.
As for Margie. . .Margie Perenchio herself is one of the most interesting funny off-the-wall, out-of-the-box people I have ever met and can simply say the soothing guest house could NEVER reveal her more zany side for America not her privilege. I am grateful to have her as a client and now friend. She called me because she saw me on the first season of MDD talking on a portable purse phone and knew I was the gal for her. Keep in mind she had her home designed by one of the most eminent French decorators of all time, Henri Samuel, so for her to call me because of an episode with a purse phone shows you what a lady of supreme fun she is.
Mary the guest house is just perfect- I could see it men being comfortable in the surroundings especially the camel colored room so cozy and warm. You're my favorite one to watch especially your comments!
Mary, I watch the show just to see your outfits..love your style!! I think you would make a great stylist.
Be still my heart!!! LOVE the greek key mirror beside the bed. Can you give particulars such as where to purchase or name of maker? Is there anywhere on Bravo that gives information on items placed in rooms? ?Thank you!! Love the show!
Beautiful guest house. Nice proportions, lovely textures, textiles, colors. I'm glad they showed the puppy and his bad behavior. It lent an element of humor and honesty to a show which sometimes glorifies the ostentatious.
Hi Mary, You are too funny. I'm right there with you sister.... I have to DVR the series because I'm watching what you have on, how your hair looks etc., - and you look fabulous!!! But then I miss the all the designing and decorating tips. Keep it up; I love your style and most of all, your honesty! Can't wait till next week.
Miss Karen... I so love it when you and Jack... err, sorry Mary I confused you with someone else for for some reason.
I so love it when you and Nathan are together. Your chemistry seems quite special - something that makes me smile - can't wait til next week to see it in action once more.
I have to say, with all due respect to all the other designers, I am left dumbstruck by the ease with which you create such sophisticated and elegant comfort in a room. I've so enjoyed the portfolio on your website - truly a pleasure to view. Next lifetime... I'm hiring you! <wink!>
Thanks for sharing yourself (and Nathan) with us!
I'm so glad your show is back on!!!! I love it! You're always so funny and glamourous and I truly enjoy seeing the before and after rooms that you decorate. They're beautiful! I must agree that Margie did not need to hang that painting. If she had asked you to incorporate it into the design to begin with, I'm sure you would have done so beautifully. So glad you're back...
