The Lorbers Discuss Real Estate
Bravotv.com: How did you feel about Fredrik making a scene in front of your dad?
ML: Real estate brokerage (especially in NYC) is a very cutthroat business, and I should not (and never do) receive any special treatment because my dad is our firm's chairman. However, we all work for the same team and I did not find [Fredrik's behavior] very professional or mature.
Bravotv.com: What do you see in Michael’s real estate future? How do you think his career will grow/change from here?
HL: Bright. Michael has always had keen eye for real estate and now because of the show, he has a greater understanding of how real estate brokerage has grown from mom and pop operations to a big business.
Bravotv.com: What do you see in your real estate future? How do you think you career will grow/change from here?
ML: I hope to continue what I do best. . .and that is selling high end residential real estate in Manhattan. I am growing my business everyday in different parts of the city and its suburbs. I would like to spend more time working on my philanthropic activities, where I currently serve as a board member for Love Heals, MGH Cancer Center, Children's Hospital Boston, New England Aquarium, and Babson College. Giving back as always been very important to me and hope that I can more of my peers to do the same
