Look Inside the Obama Family's $3,500 a Night Hawaii Vacation Home

The so-called "Winter White House" can be yours for your next trip.

Much has been discussed recently about Barack Obama's real estate moves and ambitions following his upcoming departure from the White House.

And while many details surrounding his future moving and shaking are still speculative, Travel + Leisure confirms the location where First Family has vacationed in the president's home state in past years. The “Winter White House,” as it's known, was preferred by the Obamas from 2008 to 2011, and is currently available for any would-be vacationer at the rate of $3,500 per night.

The luxury vacation home is dubbed Paradise Point Estates, and has five bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms, with room for 10 people. So it's certainly comfortable to support a family — but not exactly the over-the-top vacation rentals preferred by some celebrity types.

In the center of the property is a pool done in a natural, lagoon-like style meant to resemble a tide pool. The courtyard also includes waterfalls, a spa, and outdoor wet bar. The whole inviting arrangement lights up for entertaining after dark.

Indoors, the kitchen is fully equipped with top-end appliances and various coffee-making gadgets.

The master suite offers views over Kailua Bay Beach, and the en suite bathroom has a therapeutic bath and steam shower.
