Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch Is Back on the Market — With a $33 Million Price Cut

If you have $67 million to spare, this may be the California vacation getaway you've been looking for.

If you're in the market for a California vacation home with 2,700 acres of land — and a very storied history — you're in luck. That's because the famous (and infamous) Michael Jackson property known as Neverland Ranch is back on the real estate market — and it's on sale.

Indeed, The Wall Street Journal reports that the ranch is now asking a mere $67 million, a significant chunk off of its $100 million original asking price back in 2015.

Sellers are the Jackson estate as well as a fund managed by real-estate investment trust Colony Northstar. The Journal reports that the huge original ask was "a difficult number to achieve," according to Suzanne Perkins, the property's original listing agent.

The property is located about 40 miles from posh and celebrity-studded Santa Barbara, California. It's now going by the name "Sycamore Valley Ranch," but plenty of details unique to the pop star remian — such as a flowery clock a la Disneyland that spells out "Neverland."

The property has about 22 structures on it. The Normandy-style main house spans a whopping 12,600 square feet, with five bedrooms as well as a staff annex. There is also four-bedroom guesthouse, and two staff houses. In another building, there's a 50-seat movie theater and a dance studio.

Jackson bought the property in 1987 for $19.5 million and lived there for more than 15 years.
