Josh Altman

Josh is always up for a challenge, but he's not so sure about Madison and Josh F.

Wow! It's crazy to finally see my years of work come to fruition on television. After almost ten months of being followed around with cameras, I finally get to sit with my family and friends and see it all come together. I've loved every minute and hope everyone who watches loves it too!

The first day of filming was during a listing meeting in Beverly Hills on Benedict Canyon. Man, was I nervous! I had to film in front of my new client. Thankfully he never saw me sweat! I remember telling myself to just do what I do everyday and try to ignore the cameras. It was the perfect setting; a beautiful home, an amazing backyard... It was a great portrayal of what really goes on in making a real estate deal. I also loved the office scene where I was grinding the phone looking for an offer. I had a lot of pressure from my client to sell his house. You always need to think outside the box. No deal is easy, and in the end getting a property sold is my bottom line. The negotiation scene at the Greek restaurant was also hysterical. I've had many deals where we have literally negotiated sales at the dinner table. Glad everyone got to see that.

It was also fun seeing the other two agents do what they do. I never really know what those guys are up to. That was the first time I met Josh Flagg at his ridiculous open house. I thought the food from Nate n Al's was great, but I felt that his "religious" theme was very inappropriate. I don't think it was very professional. I know the house he was trying to sell very well. Well enough to know that he definitely has his work cut out for him. You never want to have the biggest and most expensive house on the block. Always remember if there are no comps, then it's going to be a tough resale.

Much to the disappointment of some of our viewers, I'm surprised we didn't see Madison with his shirt off yet. Oh, and talk about awkward, how about that agent hitting on Madison during the showing? I almost couldn't watch, I was embarrassed for him. I can relate to the pressure Madison was experiencing from his client about needing to move in ASAP. I deal with that all the time. It's good to have pressure from motivated clients, not every agent can handle it, but that's why I'm the best.

This season is going to be amazing! The houses are out-of-this-world! I can't wait to see next week's episode! Follow me on Twitter @thejoshaltman for all the amazing deals, properties, and the crazy real estate drama I deal with every day!

Thank you everyone for watching and supporting the show. Until next time!

Josh

Josh is confident. He is a natural. He doesn't put other people down. If you are watching the show closely you'll notice that the other people are shifting negative energy towards him to drag him down because they are threatened by his flawless talent.

YOU make the show! Never seen it before, but you definitely bring class to it! If you've ever seen Jersey Boys on Broadway, you look a lot like Jarrod Spector in including your mannerisms, smile, and you both are gorgeous! Don't let 'em get to you. Can't wait for the next episode!

You want everyone to think you're so confident, but people who are don't constantly put other people down, it just makes you look petty and jealous and so unprofessional!

Dude, Stop trying so hard. Confidence does not come by what you say, but by how you act and treat others. Dissing your co-stars on the show, and in particular, threatening to beat one of them up, shows low class. Rise above that man. You have the talent, but don't shove it down others throats. Good luck on the show, and with your work. Seattle Agent

I think you fit right in and have fun selling houses. I like your energy. I do, however, miss Chad, and if I was putting my home on the market and buying a new home, Chad would be my realtor, because he was honest and gave off the vive that made me think he really cared about his clients personally and their getting what they wanted. I hope you bring some of that to the show. I think that's what clients are really looking for in a realtor. The one thing I wouldn't wamt is a realtor who drank while negotiating on my behalf, but I'm sure that's not something you do often.

Good luck on the show. I'll be watching.

Yeah, its pretty clear that you are definitely a shark, that said, I think you are a great addition to the show. You have Madison who is the non-threatening pretty boy of Malibu, the gimmicky Josh F. and you the hard selling no holds bar.....balls to the wall lets get done attitude. By showing the three contrasting selling styles in the show gives us the viewer a little glimpse into what its like to succeed in the cutthroat world of LA, CA real estate.

There is a reason Madison is front and center of all advertising for the show. Not just cause he has the looks, he actually has the brains and depth of experience to back it all up. Josh, you have talent, control it instead of throwing it all out there. Locker Room days are for kids. When you sell a property for over 100m and can consistently hit big numbers, the mouth learns to be quiet. There is a saying in the Billionaire's world, less words more action. You have the energy but anyone can make 25m a year in this business, for some of us its a matter of a few transactions, others it means multiple ones. The show is great but you have a lot to learn from Madison when it comes to selling. His repeat business and clients speak louder then self promotion. I would like to se you close a 20m deal and then just be quiet, enjoy the commission and smile when people ask how the business is going this year...then you will realize what its like to be successful. Your off to a great start and you can sell so let see.
