Josh Flagg

Josh finally opens up about his personal life.

on Mar 22, 20110

Hi kids,

So I loved this episode, because it finally opens up the door to my personal life. If it had been up to Bravo, this would have been done years ago, but because of my own personal insecurities was prolonged until now. So the cat's out of the bag! Thats right... I'm gay! Really it wasn't a secret. I mean hello, I wear silk pajamas! So now you have all met my boyfriend Colton.

The photo shoot was great, and of course Edith gave me great advice as usual about the open house. We will see how that goes next week on the finale of Million Dollar Listing. For now, keep following me on twitter at JoshFlagg1 and check out my first book http://www.asimplegirl.net or my latest book, an autobiography and how to guide at http://www.joshflaggbook.com.

Bye bye!

Josh

Josh, I also was very close to my grandmother, I was holding her had when she passed. My heart broke, and I've never been the same. Please cherish the time you have with her, she is a real sweetheart! Should you ever have the time please Mail me at; lee@joltmail.com I would really like to write to you. All my best to you and Colton!! Lee Michael

No Surprise
No Surprise

No surprise at all. Joshy, I had a keen feeling that you were gay. Like everyone else, I was on the edge of my seat when you "confirmed" it while having lunch with your business manager.

I appreciated the comment you made to Colton that being is what you are, not who you are. I admire the way you conduct and manage your business/clients separate from "the life." In this society, once a person comes out of the closet, they almost immediately attach themselves to all things gay.

Now that the cat's outta the bag, I have to wonder; was that sexual tension between you and Chad? I never understood how or why the 2 of you didn't get along at all. I think you've become the show favorite, for me anyways. Chadster was annoying, but I thought he was a good fit. Madison has been on the show since the oldie but goodies gang kicked off season 1. He was kinda boring and less assertive in his sales this season--much too passive and a pushover.

I look forward to seeing you all for season 4, including Josh "Ari Gold" Altman. That was the funniest remark (the Encino eyesore, which still sits on the market).

Good for you Josh. I had a great relationship with my grandmother as well and it's nice to see you have the same.

It's very simple--you owe Heather an apology. It was absolutely NONE of your business what she was doing. And you owe the other Josh an apology; he had a right to ask you about it and you got nasty. Josh, do you NEVER think you're wrong? I've seen your outrageous behavior with the others, including the fights you continually picked with Chad. What's up? Maybe time to take a good hard look in your mirror???

Whenever a male co-worker speaks about his wife or girlfriend THAT is personal. Whenever a co-worker has a picture of their opposite sex spouse on their desk THAT is personal. Would you argue with that????

I love your little "old man" ways! I never ceases to amaze me that you are only 25, but you carry yourself as a more mature person. I like that quality about you. Your little sarcastic comments crack me up & I love the time that you spend with your Grandma. I all but rolled on the floor laughing when you asked her about the fur coat & she stated that it was too complicated to turn it on & off! Classic!

I didn't detect your sexuality, but my mother did. I don't care either way. I still enjoy watching you!

Hi Josh, wow never saw that coming but bravo to you. I'm happy society is making steps forward to accepting people for something as simple as sexual preference. You are an amazing person and have a beaming light energy. Your Grandmother is devine and should start her own "advice" site. What a wealth of information and grounding she is for you. You are blessed Josh. Lots of success to you.

Josh....I wasn't so sure what to think of you the last few seasons...this season I totally dig you! I think you are being true to yourself and are showing you includingyour flaws (perceived). I love your quirky sense of humor and I am jealous that you have such a great Grandmother who is such a big part of your life....you are lucky in many ways.

Josh I want to congradulate you and your openess on the screen about your personal life. I watched the previous seasons and always wondered why such an intellectual, smart, handsome man was always seen alone. Now I understand I really enjoyed that scene when the publisher came out asking you if you really wanted all your intimancies to be revealed. I was like sitting at the edge of my seat and deep down inside I had figured it out before Colten was mentioned. I am a mom of a son whom has sort of the same qualities like you I admire you and wish you the best even though you seem to have it all already you are truly blessed I live for the moments when you and your grandma interact and if it wasn't for the great family you have you wouldn't be the wonderful person that you are you today you are truly blessed and I continue to cherish your grandma's advice she is a darling all of you have my heart may God continue to bless you and everyone else in your family and the Bravo Family of course!!!

Josh, it's about time you finally came out! My "gaydar" was off the charts when I first saw you! However, you portrayed yourself as something else and no one, including and especially yourself, should "hide" from what you really are. I am a female straight Flight Attendant and a licensed cosmetologist and just ADORE my gay friends! NEVER be ashamed of who or what you are! You obviously are a success no matter what your sexuality is and in this day and age, being gay is more accepting than ever! That took some "balls", honey, coming out especially on TV in front of the whole world! I'm just a little disappointed that you didn't "come out" from the get go and let us (the viewers and fans) on. However, as I always say, better late than never! It was hard for me to come out as a "heterosexual"...lol! Stay proud honey and relish your individualism as I have! BTW, I may change professions based on watching you but I'm still mulling that one over since I'm in AZ and this market is tough as hell!! You're gorgeous and fabulous and you will succeed regardless of your sexual orientation!

Josh, I totally enjoyed watching you on Bravo the past couple of days. You're a terrific young man, and you are so smart to ask your "elders" for advice. Great move! I totally support your decision about the book and your gorgeous partner. You deserve to be happy and open. Many blessings to you, Vivere.

Josh,

You are my favorite, hands down. I was saddened to find out you were gay, only because I wanted a shot, ha :) I am glad you were able to open up about your life.

Josh, You are my absolute favorite RE Profesh to watch on this show. I especially look forward to the segments featuring your grandma. I can totally tell that you take her advice seriously--even though it may seem outlandish at times. Like the clean fingernails advice. GOLDEN! But THAT advice is soooo true! The older generation Omas in my family say the exact same thing...and it always proven to be true.

It would be a dream to be in the position of the twins and absorb all of your professional amazingness. Just to be able to be around your quick wit and dry sense of humor--they are lucky!

Bravo Producers, Please take care of Josh so he stays on the show for the duration of this series. He is the reason I watch it. Sooo entertaining.

forget all the hoolas and congrats from those who think you coming clean is a good thing - I feel for your family - its wrong no matter what society tells you -or name calling they want to call us ignorant - but we know who really is - you're good in real estate and will go far, but keep your personal life to yourself -

Have to agree. You guys are all great. Any man who loves his Gram the way you do is awesome, and any Gram who accepts her grandson the way she does is more than. You have a gem there, take the time to spend with her. She obviously adores you. How many people can say that? Market's tough, but you'll do well. By the way, love the way you devour your food at your open houses. Would be doing the exact same thing. Would never get me out of that kitchen. Congrats to you on being an honest man, it earns even more respect!

I betcha your wrong on this one fellow veiwer. Josh's dinamic is not limited to his sexuality. Doubt he feels the need to show his feathers all the time. Madison, as much as I adore him, is enough a peacock for the whole show.

Josh, I have even more respect for you than prior to your coming out. Insecurities or not, every person must count the cost of and then own their personal decisions. You seem to have weighed the pros and cons of exposing your private life and arrived at what was best for you. I DID NOT appreciate the conduct of the party you were representing from the gay community seeking a lease to do business ( the Door's old studio ). They came off as being pushy and disrespectful of your privacy. I knew you were gay. Your sexuality is but one part of you and like all the qualities that makes you who you are. I rather liked your choice approach to coming out. You did so with class, a matter of fact attitude and then let it be. You quirky humor never fails to put a smile on my face, and for that the world's a better place.

Josh I thought the group you sold "The Doors" old studio to created a prelude to your decision to come out. They threw around a lot of innuendo's that gave hint to your relationship status. I'm proud of you & I think it's great for your better half to finally be recognized.

That made me so sad that you were anxious about revealing your true nature :( Being gay should illicit no ounce of shame. Glad that any you felt is behind you.

Josh- Congrats on coming out, it is so nice to see someone like you on tv...your boyfriend seems very supportive and you seem like a great match, just from what little we seen of Colton, you compliment each other quite well. Also, love the apartment (very nicely decorated). Your grandmother is such a sweetheart, love seeing her on the show. It is kinda like the relationship I have with my grandmother. Now you gave me another reason to keep tuning in to MDL. Always have watched it for you and Madison. Hope you decide to continue being on the next season. Can't wait. BTW why are the seasons of MDL so short? Again, congrats and nothing but love and support!:)

Wow....What an affair assumption of someone's future behavior. My guess is you're just upset finding out that a gay man wears silk pj's & now it's forcing you to question your husbands sexuality. The show is better off having you removed from it's viewership.

Good for you my friend. We need more people like you helping to continue inspiring our younger gays and lesbians to feel good about coming out when they feel ready to. So go on wit your bad self Josh! Also be good to that boyfriend of yours too. It was great to see you folks share that moment on camera showcasing aspects of a monogamous and clearly loving gay relationship. Some Big Shakas to you guys from a viewer of your show in Hawaii.

I have watched the show on and off since its beginning's because of you and your on air persona. I was touched that you took the air time to "look back" with your fabulous grandmother at her difficult early life and Kudos on "stepping up" in a very personal way once again, although I think the exchange looked contrived it was at last an introduction to your other half. I also think that you would be my realtor if I was in your market looking.

I assumed your sexuality was NONE OF MY BUSINESS. But now that you've come out, congrats. I hope you feel great about it and more importantly, I hope Colton sees how committed you are to him. He was very patient. Mazel Tov!

Honestly, no one really cares. It is who you are as a person and how well you do you work your business and your interaction with your family. Especially, your Grandma. I really like the way you interact with her. She is such a pleasure to watch.

So, who cares whether you are straight or gay. To be honest, it really isn't anyones business except you and your partner. Just my two cents. Love the Show. One of my favorites!

Josh, From the very first time I watched your show I have had a huge crush on you. I don't care that you're gay. I'll always have a crush on you. You are probably one of the funniest people on tv and you are also a very nice person too. I wish you the best and I can't wait to watch the next epsiode of your show on Tuesday!

Love your biggest fan - Katie :)
