Teresa: "I'm Really Humble and Really Down to Earth"

RHONJ's spitfire dazzles the South with her hospitality.

By Colleen Werthmann

Teresa Giudice might be all Jersey, but lately she's been acting like a regular Southern belle.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey star and author is in Columbia, South Carolina tonight for a Q&A hosted by the Friends of the Richland County Public Library, where she promises to be an open book.

"Everybody always wants to know how I got into Housewives. They just want to know personal things. Whatever they want to know, I'm open to telling," she told South Carolina's The State newspaper.

"I'm really humble and really down to earth," she added. " I'm still true to who I am. I'm still the same person. The way they portray you on TV, that's not who you really are. I'm really, real, and I think my true friends know who I really am."

And as for the more explosive moments that Andy Cohen seems to conjure up at the RHONJ reunion shows, Teresa says, "That's his job. And I love Andy. I'm a big girl and I can defend myself."
