NeNe's Secret Fear About 'Glee'

The RHOA diva's role involves... uh-oh.

By Colleen Werthmann

NeNe Leakes could not be more excited about her new acting gig on Glee... well, except for one major problem.

As the Real Housewives of Atlanta star told The Insider, "I play a character called Roz Washington, she's the synchronized swim coach, and she's the nemesis to Sue Sylvester, who is Jane [Lynch], and she's very strong-willed, she's very straightforward, she's not afraid of Sue Sylvester... and she's there to take somebody's job!"

Ok, so far so good. Maybe it was her co-stars? "I've met Lea Michele, she's very sweet, she busted into my trailer and was like 'Oh my gosh, hi, welcome aboard,' and I've met Chris (Colfer)...  I've met everybody and I think they're all great."

Huh... then what's the problem? "Oh God, I've been really worried about the water," she tells The Insider. "The pool is super big!  I'm just like 'Lord have mercy!' I was like, I'm not that kind of swimmer!  I can play, but – it's like, I'm a black girl! I can't be getting my hair all wet now. Come on. So I dunno. I'm sure they're comin' up with a way to put me in the water and I'm gonna just die."
