Cat Cora has been breaking down walls her entire career, and now she's hit yet another milestone by becoming the first female chef to ever be inducted into the Culinary Hall of Fame.

The American Culinary Foundation gave Cat the ultimate honor this week, marking her success in both the culinary and the media world -- including her recent co-hosting turn on Around the World in 80 Plates -- as the keys to her induction. Of the news, Cat said:

"I am honored and humbled to accept this prestigious award and to join such an esteemed group of past honorees ... ACF members represent the highest achievements in culinary excellence and for me to be chosen as the first female chef to be inducted into the Culinary Hall of Fame is truly a highlight of my career."

Cora just this week wrapped up the inaugural season of 80 Plates, which he co-hosted alongside Curtis Stone. We recently caught up with Cat at the Plates finale party -- see what she had to say about the show below, and be sure to check out Cat's personal photo diary here!
