Patti Stanger: The Real Men Are In the 'Burbs

The Millionaire Matchmaker says all the fellas are buying houses and settling down.

Forget Sex and the City ... it's all about finding love in the suburbs according to Patti Stanger.

Our very own Millionaire Matchmaker tells the New York Post that if women want to be serious about locking down a husband-type man, nowadays you have to look beyond the city and into the 'burbs. In fact, it's a trend that's going to be here to stay according to P.

"I don't see it going away," she told the paper. And apparently husband-finding is just like the housing market: "The men are not in the city; they’re buying houses in a down economy. If you want to get married, you have to go to where the men are. You have to think: location, location, location."

PR guru Robin Kassner follows Patti's logic, even saying that suburban guys don't have the egos that city men tend to carry. "Ugly guys in Manhattan, they think they’re hot stuff ... In Connecticut, they’re just very normal, very sweet, very unassuming. They don’t have game. They’re steak-and-potatoes American. They don’t care about fashion, they’re not metrosexual,” the Haute PR single lady said.
