The 'WWHL' Hangover With 'Gallery Girls' Star Liz Margulies (Exclusive)

The artsy Bravo newbie opines on why she's Team Gorga and loves Elvis.

By Mike Hess

We've got another WWHL Hangover for you, and this time the special guest just happens to be one of our own: Gallery Girls star Liz Margulies.

What's the WWHL Hangover? It's when we catch up with guests the morning after their Watch What Happens Live appearance (preferably their first one) to find out what they thought about the show, about host Andy Cohen -- and if there's any good behind-the-scenes gossip to share. Liz graciously shook off the cobwebs from her late night -- she and her mom had dinner afterwards, ending around 2 AM -- to chat with The Dish about her rookie WWHL appearance, and it turns out she's a big fan of Melissa Gorga ... and Elvis Presley. Seriously, read below and check out Liz's pics of the night here:

How late of a night was it for you?
I went to eat with my mom afterwards, so probably 2 AM.

This being your first time on Watch What Happens Live, what are your first thoughts on it?
I thought it was really cool. It's really a comfortable little place, which I didn't know. I didn't know it was going to be so small. I felt really comfortable Andy did a really good job of making it that way.

You were also sitting next to Ramona Singer on the guest couch. Was this your first time meeting her?
Yes, that was my first time meeting her. I was a little scared at first, because she's a little crazy but she was really nice. She was really sweet to me, so that was good.

You were both wearing white dresses. Were you OK with that?
No, that wasn't planned. It's a good time to wear white because summer's ending and transitioning into fall and you can definitely still get away with white. That Labor Day rule doesn't fly.

Who would you want to sit next to on next visit?
I really like Melissa Gorga, big fan of hers. I just think she's a good mom and really cute and I like what she's done on the show with her career. I think she's a good example for young girls and a good chick. And she's a Christian, and she always talks about that. Tamra Barney as well. I like her too, she's hilarious.

If you had to grill someone with a Plead the Fifth, who would it be?
Marilyn Monroe. No, wait, Elvis. He's awesome and I'd just want to know what he's like. My mom had a huge crush on him.

Which era Elvis?
Not the fat one.

Your mom was hanging with you at the show. What did she think about it?
She thought it was fantastic. She loved to see the young people there doing well, being successful and having fun.
