Does Bethenny Still Talk to Ramona?

She also says she would have to be "crazy" to return to RHONY.

Bethenny Frankel appeared on Access Hollywood this week to promote her new children's book, Cookie Meets Peanut, but while she was there hosts Billy Bush and Kit Hoover couldn't resist but to get her to spill some juicy details about her time on The Real Housewives of New York.

How to Watch

"That was crazy island," Bethenny says with a laugh before revealing that she now sometimes sees former frenemies Kelly Killoren Bensimon and Ramona Singer with no hard feelings. "Ramona has called me a couple of times and we discussed what’s going on in her life and a little bit of mine. And she came on my show. And it’s good, it’s different," she said. "When you’re doing a show like that, doing the Housewives, you’re in a bubble. And drama seems so important. And you’re talking about things that you would never normally talk about and reacting in a way you wouldn’t normally react.”

Speaking of drama, Bethenny revealed that she was partially responsible for getting Aviva Drescher on the show. "I said to Andy, she has one leg and her ex-husband has slept with two current Housewives," she says. "But to have lost your leg, which is so terrible, I give her a hall pass. America didn’t give her a hall pass. To have lost her leg and been so disliked is really pretty remarkable. She’s got to do something terrible."

And would Bethenny ever go back to the show that made her a household name? "I’d have to be crazy," she remarked, before coyly adding, "I am crazy."
