Necar Zadegan


Necar Zadegan stars as Delia in Bravo's first original scripted series Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce.

Zadegan made her mark in the industry when she joined the cast of 24 in the eighth season as Dalia Hassan. Most recently, she recurred as Shayna Velez on Extant and appeared on Masters of Sex as former Iranian Empress Soraya Pahlavi. Her additional television credits include starring as Scarlet Leon on Rake, Gina Bandari on Emily Owens, M.D., and resident villainess Isabel on The Event.

She has also appeared in films including Unthinkable and You Don't Mess with the Zohan. Additionally, Zadegan played the title role of Elena Winters in the critically-acclaimed indie film Elena Undone which screened at multiple film festivals worldwide.  

Born in Karlsruhe, Germany and raised in San Francisco, Zadegan began working in theater at age 16 at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland. She later attended the University of California, Santa Barbara on a performance scholarship and graduated with degrees in literature and writing. In the spring of 2011, Zadegan returned to the stage in her Broadway debut opposite Robin Williams, as part of the original cast of the Tony Award-winning and Pulitzer Prize-nominated play The Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo.  

Zadegan currently resides in Los Angeles. She speaks four languages (French, German, Farsi, and English) and also serves as the cultural ambassador for the Levantine Center Organization.
