Did Jay-Z and Beyonce Reference Their Infamous Elevator Fight in Their New Tour?

The couple evoked some intimate family memories in front of thousands of fans.

Jay-Z and Beyonce, a couple you may have heard of, kicked off their "On the Run II" tour earlier this week in England. Unsurprisingly, their  onstage entrance made a splash — and perhaps made a cheeky reference to an infamous moment from their shared past.

The twosome descended onto the stage in an elevator, which brings that whole 2014 Met Gala elevator fight to mind. In case you missed that whole ordeal, here's a quick refresher. (And for more advanced fans, now's the time to start humming that Lemonade lyric about "Becky with the good hair.")

The tour also drew buzz for a video that seemed to showcase the couple's rarely seen twins, Sir and Rumi. In the video, Jay and Z are cradling two infants. And though fans speculated that the babes were Sir and Rumi, it turns out that was inaccurate — though the famous twins did make an appearance in a video shown later in the set.

According to fans, that intimate video seemed to showcase a vow renewal ceremony between the rapper and the singer, who first tied the knot in 2008. The pair was dressed in white in the clip, which was not from their original wedding ceremony. What other intimate family moments will Bey and Jay spill throughout the tour?

We guess we'll have to keep trying to nab some tickets ...
