Pink Says She Feels Like a Tween Boy Inside and Allows Her Daughter to Be Gender Neutral

"I'm a f**king grown up now, it's so weird," said the singer. "I'm still a 12-year-old boy."

Pink has revealed that she's raising her six-year-old daughter to understand the concept of gender neutrality. In an interview with The Sunday People (spotted by Entertainment Tonight), the singer reveals that she and her husband Carey Hart (who also have 11-month-old Jameson in their brood) have had eye-opening moments at their daughter's school.

"I was in a school and the bathroom outside the kindergarten said, 'Gender Neutral – anybody,' and it was a drawing of many different shapes," she told the publication. "I took a picture of it and I wrote, 'Progress.' I thought that was awesome. I love that kids are having this conversation."

Throughout their adventures in parenthood, Pink still feels like a tween inside.

"I'm a f**king grown up now, it's so weird," she marveled. "I'm still a 12-year-old boy."

Pink isn't the only celebrity to reveal that they're raising their children as gender neutral. Comedian Russell Brand confirmed last year that he's also raising his daughter Mabel, 1, to think beyond traditional gender roles, saying he would “let the child grow up and be whatever the hell it is.”
