Johnny Marnell is a computer software programmer for eMusic.com by day, but his true passion is music. Born into a large, loving, and very musical family, he is an expert guitar player with an eclectic background including blue-eyed soul, pop, and acoustic styles. Marnell has toured with NYC-indie darling Ingrid Michaelson and was a finalist in Brooklyn's "Williamsburg Live Songwriter Competition." He's played to sold-out crowds at prestigious venues like Webster Hall in NYC, Theater of the Living Arts in Philadelphia, and Chapel Hill's Cat's Cradle, to name a few, and has showcased at South by Southwest.
