Casey's Best Friend's (Sister's) Wedding

Casey explains why being invited to Ashley's wedding was so special.

Thank you so much again for all of your support, I’m incredibly grateful. This episode is one of my favorites! Chanel's sister's wedding was unbelievable, and you are introduced to my best friend, Leila.

I'm so lucky I had the opportunity to share Chanel's sisters wedding with her and her family. The Omaris definitely know how to throw a party! I love how close Chanel and her family are. I’ve never been to this type of wedding before, and it definitely opened my eyes to our culture. Watching Chanel walk down the aisle was one of the highlights. Both Ashlee and I knew it meant so much to her that we were there, especially when she turned to us and smiled. I have never been a maid of honor before -- just a bridesmaid -- so I’ve never had to write a speech. I hoped that any advice I could offer Chanel would ease her nerves while giving her speech, as well as offer any support. I thought Chanel did an amazing job, carried herself with such poise, and looked beautiful on this special day!

I’m also so excited you got to meet Leila. Leila is one of my best friends, and we’ve been working together for almost eight years. I'm so fortunate to have someone like her in my life because she's so down to earth and encourages me to embrace who I am. She works as a makeup artist during the day, and we both share the same work ethic andpassion for creativity. Ashley (Chanel’s sister) and Leila work together during the day, so it was perfect to have Leila do the makeup for her wedding. Leila also does my makeup, and has done unbelievable work in Italian Vogue, Target, and Banana Republic to name a few. You can check out Leila's website here

I’m beyond grateful for all of your support. Thank you! If you don't already, follow me on Twitter and Instagram: @CaseyLCohen so we can talk #Princesses and more.
