After saying "Goodbye" to Jerry at last week's challenge, the designers appeared raring to go for Episode Two. Today's assignment challenged the contestants to create a cocktail dress made from eco-friendly fabric. The twist? The models picked out the materials themselves without any help from the designers. That's not all of it! They also gave direction to the designers of how they wanted their garment to look. This was a first in Project Runway history and definitely threw the contestants for a loop. Fortunately, it was Leanne's lucky day!

Leanne was ecstatic coming into the salon. Her personal clothing line Leanimal features eveningwear made out of eco-friendly materials! She told us her inspiration is renowned vegan and fashion-savvy actress Natalie Portman, who ended up being today's surprise guest judge! Leanne used chocolate colored hemp silk to create her cocktail dress, accompanied by a matching handmade headpiece.
