The Final Showdown

Bryant Park was a frantic frenzy backstage but most kept cool.

October 20, 2008

After weeks of vigorous drawing, designing and sewing, the final three designers arrived at the last challenge. The pressure was on for Leanne, Korto, and Kenley as they geared up to show their collections at Bryant Park for New York Fashion Week!

As the TRESemmé Styling Team entered the fashion tents, we were filled with excitement and anticipation to see what the designers put together. Since each contestant had 10 models each, backstage was buzzing! Kenley was frantic because some of her models were missing and didn't even show up until the last minute. Leanne was the complete opposite - she stayed calm and collected and even had all her models ready to go way before runway time. Korto looked nervous but was ecstatic to be at Bryant Park. She told us it was something she had been dreaming about her whole life. After we gathered the 30 models, we split them up by designer so that the TRESemmé Styling Team could start transforming the girls.

We saw the show in Netherlands..
But i thougt Santino was the best!
How can...?

I was so disappointed over your finale...I can't tell you
how many people I have talked to that I talked to after each show, that now say they have given up after she won...
that they are not watching again...happy now that you have
turned us off of a good show that we love? Shame, shame...

I had your finale on top and I wouldn't let anybody spoil
it for me. I couldn't believe you picked her over Momdo,
Andy or Michael. You totally went against everything you believe. I can't tell you how many people I have talked to
that were upset and have vowed not to watch your show again.

Are you happy ... so many of us are not. It was fun while
it lasted.

It would be nice if one of the challenges involved exploration into ethnic fashions. There are awesome designers out there like Ann Namba and Patty Yamasaki Sugai.

I am so upset that Irena won! Dont' get me wrong, she is a fantastic designer.. But I think Carol Hannah (sp?) put on the most amazing clothes! that I want to see in the stores near me so I cna buy them!

I love Tin Gund! He is so funny saying all of the time," Work It!" He should patent that saying. Loving the Show and I can't wait for another new season.

I'm Johnny. I'm sorry for lying on national TV. I'm a heterosexual man trapped in a gay man's body. I have no sense of style or design and have decided to go back to flipping burgers in Joisey

Is PR ever coming back again? Am I out of the loop? Did it move to another station? Someone......anyone.......have any info?
Thanks!
