Bravotv.com: Are you a Project Runway fan? If so, what was your favorite episode or moment?
I am a fan of Project Runway. Anything that allows an amateur to shine and reach another level is fantastic. I'm being biased but I can't help but like my episode.

Bravotv.com: How does fashion play a role in your life? How would you describe your on-ice/off-ice style?
Fashion plays an interesting role in my life. People have a perception of certain athletes that they see on television or even when I was on Dancing with the Stars. Being fashionable off the ice is the time when I am able to show my personality and sense of style. Training times are almost like taking a break because I can wear whatever is put together in the midst of a workout. It's off the ice when we can make these transformations into a good look.

Bravotv.com: What was the key to winning this challenge? What are the most important characteristics of a successful opening ceremony ensemble?
Keys to winning any challenge are preparation, insight, research, attention to detail, and being unique in a way that aligns with the challenge. The most important characteristic of a successful opening ceremony ensemble would have to be the bold statement of USA. We are a melting pot of cultures and ethnicities but we stand under one flag that is true to us -- displaying that feeling and emotion in a wardrobe is very difficult without being "too patriotic" ...

Bravotv.com: Can you describe a little what the opening ceremony is like?
I've often been asked this question and it is hard to describe! Lights, emotions, energy, flow, surreal, amazing ... geez! Grab me a thesaurus and dictionary!

Bravotv.com: Which designs stood out the most? Both good and bad?
Ha! The designs that stood out the most were the ones that had nothing to do with the Olympic games or Team USA. They were very unique (even for a regular fashion show) but the ones that stood out the most, and were on the correct track towards the challenges goals, made the entire wardrobe sexy, classy, team-orientated, and [used] striking, bold colors.

Bravotv.com: What was the biggest mistake the designers made?
Did not do ENOUGH research on what athletes will NEED to wear into the Olympic games. Knowing the intricate details of walking, the emotions, and even what it means to step alongside fellow Olympians will change the way they design for this particular challenge.

Bravotv.com: How will you be spending the Summer Olympics?
Training hard and cheering all of my friends and teammates in the summer games. I'll be glued to the Internet and TV.

Bravotv.com: If you could see one trend in the opening ceremony ensembles go, what would it be?
Giving the athletes a chance to be modern with the choices, sexy, powerful. Honestly, some of the outfits and ensembles that these designers came up with (and with one day's time) were amazing! Very impressed with the choices of colors, fabrics, and designs. These athletes have amazing sculptured bodies and laser-focused eyes to match -- let them show a bit!

Bravotv.com: Have you been keeping up with your dancing?
Not as much. Training for the 2010 Olympic Games in Vancouver BC doesn't allow me much other time.
