Reza Farahan and Adam Neely married last October in a surprise wedding that was later included during Season 5 of Shahs of Sunset. In the twelve months since that momentous occasion, the pair have certainly been living in wedded bliss.
"I have to say that this has been one of the best years of my life," Reza told Personal Space. "And I'm really lucky to be where I'm at and I just can't wait to spend the rest of my life with Adam. And the funny thing is we were just at my friends Mike [Shouhed's] house, he was having a housewarming party [and] he was showing off his new home, and he came up to me and he's like 'Man, the first year of marriage is the hardest.' And I'm like, 'Yeah, motherf***er cause you were with the wrong bitch. Maybe find the right bitch and it wont be so hard.' The first year is amazing. I highly recommend it to everybody. Go find a spouse and tell him Reza sent you."
Reza's TV editor hubby couldn't agree more with that assessment of newlywed life. "Zero complaints," he said of being married to the Yours, Mine or Ours agent. "We get along great. We don't argue. We communicate. You know, we have a little family together, like we have our cats and our dog. It's been amazing. Literally zero complaints."
With marriage going so great, the couple admits that kids are definitely in the cards next. "For sure. He had put me on the five-year plan about a year-and-a-half ago. I'm a huge supporter of adoption. One of my best friends, Jefferson, who's been on the show, he was adopted and I think there are a lot of kids out there that need a home. Adam really wants to have his own biological children, so we're having a bit of a tug of war with that. So to answer your question the family definitely will be growing. We just don't if it will be from an adoption agency or a surrogate."
Reza added that he would also consider both adoption and natural kids. But, Adam has some other plans on the horizon as well. "We;re talking about [kids]. We're looking to buy a house. We want kids, but we're not in a rush to have them because we both have amazing things going for both of us at the same time," he shared. "There's not a question about us having kids, we want kids, what we want to do is have a house first and then expand our family, which is the plan. But who knows how it's going to play it. Our five-year goal is to have a house and at least one kid."
