Shahs of Sunset's Reza Farahan is the expert on Palm Springs: Not only does he have a swanky, mid-century home there, but the Southern California desert city is where he married love Adam Neely in a surprise wedding!
Jet Set caught up with the star in Los Angeles during the taping of the Shahs reunion special, and got his take on the very best things to do in the desert.
First of all, he said, cover the basics of desert life: "Get some sun — Vitamin D is essential — barbecue, go in the pool, Netflix and chill!" (He also used some juicier language to describe that last activity — watch the video to hear it.)
As viewers know, Reza also loves a place called The Estate Sale in Palm Springs, which he recommends for luxury finds. "The Estate Sale gets a lot of things from people who are either dying or selling off all their sh-t," he said. "So you go in there and there’s jewels, there’s furs, there’s furniture — you name it, it’s there."
He also suggests that Palm Springs is an ideal location to scoop up rare, luxury autos. "If you need cars, [shop in Palm Springs to find options] like amazing Porsches that have super-low mileage because [they sit unused at somebody's] second home."
Last, Reza says visitors to Palm Springs need to check out a "really great Mexican place" called El Mirasol. He says, "Their chicken taquitos are the business!"
