Lilly Ghalichi on Her Post-Baby Body: "It Kind of Looks Like a Water Bed"

The new mama is getting "back to reality" by starting up her workouts again — and letting fans tag along on her fitness journey.

Have Any of the Shahs Been in Touch with Lilly Ghalichi?

Right after giving birth to her daughter, Alara Mir, in September, Lilly Ghalichi had a major realization. OK, two major realizations: First, the Shahs of Sunset alum learned that she could love more deeply than she ever thought possible. And, two: Lilly learned that it takes most new mamas awhile before they look like their old selves again.

How to Watch

Catch up on Shahs of Sunset on the Bravo App.

"They don't tell you you are still going to look pregnant after you have the baby," she said on Instagram Stories. "I swear to God I thought I'd just be so skinny after the baby came out, but you're not!" (Ed's note: This writer can relate ... five months postpartum!)

Now, the new mama is giving fans an update on where things stand. Filming herself in the mirror on Instagram Stories as she turned from side to side, Lilly delivered a little state of the post-childbirth body address:

"All right, guys. I am officially back to reality," she shared. "I wanted to give you a progress [update]. So this is what I look like four weeks after delivery. I gained a total of 40 pounds during my pregnancy. All of it came off naturally; I haven't dieted or exercised, except for 15 pounds. As you can see, I'm noticeably fuller and rounder. Also, my skin is kind of loose."

She added, hilariously: "It kind of looks like a water bed. These pants are really tight, so it's holding it in. I'll spare you what it looks like without. But today's my first day exercising!"

In her caption, Lilly shared that her workout was "starting slow with a 10 minute jog." Another thing they don't tell you? For a brand new parent, even finding 10 minutes to exercise is a feat! Go, Lilly!
