Pregnant Mercedes "MJ" Javid Reveals the One Thing She Eats Every Single Day

Shahs of Sunset's Mercedes "MJ" Javid is expecting her first baby — but this craving was around long before the pregnancy.

Mercedes "MJ" Javid is pregnant and expecting her first child with husband Tommy Feight — but the Shahs of Sunset pal has one food craving pretty much every day of her life, whether or not she has a baby on board.

As she sat in the glam chair prepping for the reunion taping on October 4 in Los Angeles, MJ chatted with The Feast about the fuel that powers her life — and she was very committed to one food in particular.

"I’m about to have some hot lemon water and a banana," she told us, referring to her reunion-day breakfast. Such light fare, however, is not typical for MJ. She explained, "My typical breakfast is camomile tea and feta cheese with English muffin. They don’t have that here today [at craft services] so I’m just roughing it. You know Persians with our feta, it’s a very serious business. Regular grocery stores don’t carry it."

So where can legit feta be found?

"Luckily, Bristol Farms [high-end grocery store in Los Angeles] carries one. It comes in a clear container, the ones you get those salad bar salad[s in]. It’s got pasteurized goat milk and it sits in water. Half of it is water, and then you get a solid block of feta."
MJ told us she could eat that one single ingredient — plus some basil leaves for good measure — as part of all three daily meals.

Indeed, MJ told us, she could subsist on "feta cheese with fresh basil on crispy, crunchy pita bread" every day forever.

And hey, come to think of it... so could we. (Well, it's either that or chips and rosé.)
