3rd Short Cut Challenge Today we were supposed to do an updo on our clients using an accessory. I was planning on doing an updo that was clean and beautiful but instead I heard Campbell say to Charlie that his was too bridal and not fantasy. Well by that time I was halfway to a clean 'do when I changed my entire scheme. I started back combing and teasing and f**king it all up. I came in last. How embarrassing. For the next elimination challenge I am going to make myself happy. When I was in the top two for the cartoon challenge, I didn't even realize that they liked it so much. I followed the advice of my mom and didn't look around the room at all and it did me well. I need to read The Secret again. I am going to win the next challenge. The judges will like my work and think it's the best. Come on Nekisa -- make it happen. I gotta allow my creativity to shine through in this competition. My heart needs mending. My sisters and Mom need to be proud of me. Who cares about these shortcut challenges anyway? They don't count. I'm so upset.
