Austen Kroll's Oversized Mural Just Breathed Life Into His Living Room

The Southern Charm pal commissioned a custom work for his living room.

Chelsea Meissner is enjoying the "zen sanctuary" of her newly remodeled home, but she's not the only Southern Charm pal who is doing some decorating right now. Austen Kroll is also making some changes at home, starting with a special statement piece of art that he commissioned from artist Sam Malpass.

Malpass brought a special kind of paint brush over to Austen pad's in order to create a masterpiece for him: a broom! She used the wide bristles to sweep a giant ampersand symbol on the canvas, which her brother then professionally hung for Austen. He seems delighted with the results, which he shared on his Instagram Stories. We're loving that he opted to hang the mural sideways.

Malpass uses all different sizes of brushes with her paintings, which are often abstract and vividly colorful. Perhaps Austen should commission a few more pieces? Regardless, we've all got some inspo for that blank wall we all have now!
