Here’s What We Know About Kathryn C. Dennis’ “Single Mom Pad”
The Southern Charm mother of two has a new home, and it’s colorful to say the least.
2019 is shaping up to be an amazing year for Kathryn C. Dennis. Southern Charm's mom of two will be launching her new furniture line Kensie + Saint, and she’ll be settling in to her brand-new Charleston home, which she just revealed is “almost finished.”
In a post to her Instagram stories page, Kathryn shared a photo of herself lounging in her new home and, well, where do we start?! There’s almost too many details to take in.
1. Lots o’ Leopard
We know our girl loves her some leopard and that penchant is front and center in her new home, in the shape of leopard-print rug and matching ottoman. Bold choices, for a bold gal.
2l A Cornucopia of Color
We’re obsessed with all that color! We spy a vivid, ruby-hued velvet chair, alongside crimson and rose-colored pillows that tie in the room’s look.
3. Texture, Texture, Texture
Like all design pros, Kathryn knows a successful space requires texture, and she hit it out the park with her throw pillows that are anything but standard.
4. Aim High
Another design must: Height. And she’s got it in the room, thanks to a fiddle leaf fig tree behind her couch and a vase chock full of towering calla lilies.
5. Chic Details
Lastly, she’s oozing sophistication via her coffee table accessories — oversized books, a brass vase, a candle. All details that elevate the room’s vibe.
Mainly though, we know that Kathryn’s nailing this whole #singlemompad thing because her confident smile says it all. Cheers to lots more color and leopard in all of our homes next year!
