Chatting with The Lookbook about the procedure, the Southern Charm pal said: "Plastic surgery shouldn't be taboo ... If there's something about yourself that you don't like and you have the opportunity to change it, why wouldn’t you? I did it for me and no one else and want to be as open as possible about it. I'm so happy with my decision and would do it 100 times over."
Months later, Naomie is still loving her slightly tweaked nose. Speaking to Decider in April, she shared: "I’m very glad that I did it. I love it." It's no surprise that the Charm-er loves what she sees in the mirror, but what is surprising are the reactions some trolls had to the procedure.
"I guess I had no idea that it would be such a big deal," Naomie shared. "I thought it was gonna be just a non-issue, you know? Isn’t the goal of everybody to be happy with themselves and be comfortable in their own skin? So that’s what my nose job did for me, and you’d think people would be happy, but instead everyone had their own opinions."
Yes, Naomie has seen her share of snarky comments — but she's able to shrug them off with ease. "Thankfully I have thick skin," she said. "I take the hateful comments in stride just like the way I do the nice comments. None of it really means much to me unless it’s from somebody that I know."
Now that's a healthy attitude.
