Episode 8: Bravotv.com's Associate Editor counts down the top three "Really?!" moments.

Mar 6, 20120

I have to admit, when I learned Tabatha was taking over a beauty school, the lyrics to Beauty School Dropout kept playing in my head. (Apologies if it's stuck in your head. Now you understand what I've been dealing with all day.) In any event, I most certainly would have dropped out of pre-takeover Flavio Beauty College (despite the fact that the instructors all have amazing names like Mister P, Miss Kathy, and Sue). That place was in desperate need of some revitalization, and adorable little Dr. Flavio was no longer able to provide it at his age. Let the man retire!

Luckily Tabatha was able to turn around Flavio's school despite some serious "Really?!" moments. The fact that she was able to change Mister P's attitude alone was a small miracle!

Really?! Moment No. 3 - A Hole Lot of Garbage

Miss Kathy's classroom was on the verge of becoming a dumpster. Seriously, students were just dropping trash into every little nook and cranny. I didn't realize Miss Kathy was teaching grade school students here. But I suppose when you've given up on your school and your school has given up on you, why not stuff some paper towels down a hole? And as much as I love Miss Kathy, you can't not clean your room at all. Find a way to enforce the rules! Plastic wrap any open areas if you must, but don't let your room become a hoarder haven for trash.

I think Mr. P and Cathy represents a lot of stylist who have been in business for years. They needed to learn new methods and ways of applying color and perm. They need to take their personal style of out the consultations. In addition, Mr. P's attitude transformation was a miracle. He was long overdue and I hope he continues with the positive transformation. I thought it was very "sad" when Mr. Flavio said "my daughter doesn't want me in her home" and she didn't say a word. How sad. The overall transformation of the school was GREAT.
