Tabatha discusses what it's like to take over a former student's salon.
Apr 19The staff’s work was OK, but given the fact that Chris is an educator and I have seen what she was capable of, it solidified for me the fact that she had totally checked out. It was sad to hear Chris say she didn't want to be in her business, and it was frustrating and infuriating when I knew she was sitting at home watching her business and staff on cameras because she preferred that to showing up. It had to stop.
Chris also had to be given a wakeup call that her business model of high volume and low prices wasn't working. Her staff was frustrated, they felt over worked and under-appreciated, and they thought it cheapened them and their skills. I believed it was part of the reason they weren't responsive to education.
I was super excited that you filmed in my town of Bethpage. Was a little disappointed when they showed landmarks of the town as a water tower and docks. Our little town has a lot to offer. We have movie studios. We are home to Grumman. We have the Bethpage state park that has hosted the US Open twice in the past few years. Our community park has an indoor ice skating rink and a brand new skateboard park and our high school has beautiful grounds. Just wanted to say a little something about how great our town is. More than a water tower and a dirty "welcome to Bethpage" sign showed.
I've been going to Top Cuts for many years & saw the latest changes when I went in for my last hair cut. The changes & improvements are wonderful! Very happy to see things are looking up Christine & all the employees!! : D
If I were Little Chris I wouldn't be so quick to trust Melissa. (IMJS)
