Meoww? I mean really, who picks that as a name? Maybe that was my first clue to a very long and arduous week.
I love getting my nails done, but that doesn’t mean I want to open a nail salon! Yet this was Meoww’s reasoning for opening the business. I am all for people following their passion, however it wasn’t a passion for her. She thought it would be a cash cow and that is not the reason to open a business.
I was gobsmacked at Meoww’s attitude toward her staff, clientele, and business especially when she was from an HR background. She was absolutely clueless.

Tabatha, you got punked in the worst way. were her parents high when they named her Meow.? Very shady upgraded the salon then turned around and bailed and pocket the cash. track her down and sue her butt.
Ole KItty Kat put one over on Bravo she had to have started the selling process b4 she called the show.
I.m a recent fan of this the show. I enjoy how Tabitha can quickly assess the staff, the business and what will work better for more sucess. This episode was disappointing though. While watching the show, I didn't think that Meow could be using Bravo for free renovations with the intent to sell all along.
Yeah, was pretty obvious you were used and abused. Oh well, who cares about kitty cat or whatever the hell her name is, it's the technicians and clients who truly benefit, the salon will be a huge success for the new owner and they will make tons of money, and miss puss puss will move on to her next fraud. Her reputation will follow her and she will never be trusted by anyone. So it all works out for the best.
Well, as an entrepreneur myself, I have to say, watching this chick I just kept thinking? WTF?? From her very strange name (Meoww?), to her code words and bizarre behavior to get her staff’s attention to being completely clueless as to why her business is failing then finally to bailing out. WOW!! All I can say is, if I had two percent of help that TTO offered this woman, I would take it and run with it and make the most successful salon you’ve ever seen!! But for her to sell after receiving all that help tells me that not only was her heart not in it but she really was only in it for the money. There is nothing I hate more than LAZY business owners! Ugh!
I kept waiting for you to rip the salon manager (can't recall her name - but the one who thought she knew it all) a new one. Wish you would have knocked her down a few pegs publicly. Hope the techs keep up their education and continue to improve. It was nice to see that at least they were excited about the beautiful renovation ........ !
Was that her real name? It cannot be the one her mother gave her? It sounded so ridiculous.
Your show is my favorite one, of its type on television, so I've seen a lot of bad business owners but she was really over the top. Everything was just ridiculous. I hope all of the girls work to enhance or actually attain some skills, so that they can actually give good manicure and pedicures. I can't believe the receptionists.
What Meow did was dirty. She had every intention to sale the salon. She wanted the free renovation. Tabatha, sue her a$$ and make her pay money back. Meow is worst than a Wall Street rat.
At the end of the program Thursday night I thought I was watching HGTV's - Flip this Property.
That took a lot of damn gall to use your expert advise and Bravo's resources to rehab that dump so she could turn the trick. Meow was quite the rat!
You did do a lot of good for those poor inexperienced women that were trying to get by.. so that was the positive of the show. I know that they appreciated all your hard work and faith.
Karma will catch up with Meow... As it does with us all !
In her next life I hope she returns as a cat.
At least one bright spot for this episode was your providing a genuine craftsperson (the OPI representative) for the technicians to model. I saw the passion emerge for the technicians once they saw somone WHO LOVED WHAT THEY WERE DOING teach them skils. Even with how the sale of the business was conducted, one could see how the technicians were determined to grow as craftspersons. Thank God you were there Tabatha to provide them this exposure.
So basically Meow used you and Bravo for a free renovation and then dipped!! What a b*tch!!
With all the people in this country trying to keep a roof over their heads right now she gets on the show and abuses it. She knew what she was doing. Let me call the show, get picked and have them come in and fixed it up so I can sell it. I know the money does not come out of Tabatha's pocket but it must have broke her heart. Sorry Tabatha there is not much help for alley cats.
I actually just checked this blog to make sure that I was hearing correctly that that woman's name was "Meoww". How rediculous! Sounds like she just wanted a makeover for her salon, so it would sell. What a user. Didn't deserve Tabatha's help IMO. I absolutely LOVE Tabatha btw. F Twit is still one of the funniest things I have ever heard on television.
I absolutely love you and your show. I was really disappointed by this episode, though, because it seemed to me like Meoww (really, what a stupid name for a person) only wanted the remodel and staff training to increase the value of the salon to sell it. I mean, she must have already had a buyer on the hook - because how else can you sell an entire business in 3 weeks?!? I feel like she took advantage of you and your team in order to get 15 minutes of fame and a quick sale.
Was it only me that noticed the elephant in the room? I'm referring to the way the owner and her "mini-me" salon manager were SO condescending to the rest of the staff?
I wondered about that, too! Ine was incredibly snotty about the staff, yet she didn't seem to be doing such a very great job as a receptionist. I was sorry she got so much air time in the confession booth and not enough instruction/reprimanding behind the front desk.
Kudos to those nail girls for really stepping up and being willing to learn. It just goes to show that with a little help and encouragement, people can really blossom at their workplace.
