The Joy of Joy
When Tabatha took over Allure, salon stylist Joy became her biggest obstacle. After Tabatha called her lazy and complacent she had the nerve to call her a bitch! Tabatha did not take kindly to those words and gave her quite the talking to. Nobody gets away with nasty name-calling when Tabatha's around.
-
Business is Booming
Salon Takeover has its share of gross-outs and breakdowns, but usually there's a silver lining. Eclectic Salon's story was heartbreaking, especially when Jacqui admitted to her staff she had filed for personal bankruptcy. But when Tabatha went back for follow-up the salon proudly told her that "business was booming." Hey, this show is all about the happy ending.
-
Dirty Little (Not So) Secrets
When Tabatha did her routine inspection of Tantrum Salon she quickly discovered the business was overrun with a pesky cockroach infestation. One of the stylists noted with complete nonchalance that the little buggers tended to crawl out of the phone and that they had previously fallen on clients. Cue Tabatha's most extreme "that's revolting" face.
-
The Bitch Tamer
Bang Salon just might have been the most unprofessional business Tabatha had ever encountered. Why? For one, owner Darren revealed that he kept a dildo at his styling station. Of course, there was a good reason... If a client acted bitchy he would simply instruct them to take it into the bathroom to calm down. Oh, he also called it a "bitch tamer." Classy. Let's just say Tabatha wasn't amused.
-
For the Kids
Tabatha instituted an interesting training session to help Bang Salon deal with clients professionally... working with kids! When Tabs and Darren head back to school, Tabs sees a softer side of inappropriate Darren and finally calls him a real grown-up. Awww shucks.
-
Tabatha vs. Nikki
Miami's Brownes and Co. had one major problem standing in the way of its success. That would be its owner, Nikki. Exhibit A: When Tabatha presented the salon's renovation to a dazzled staff Nikki just did NOT approve. That was a "Takeover" first. She then continued to insult the job, Tabatha, and her terrified employees all at once. Bring on their blowout. Tabatha had some fighting words, but she had definitely met her match in Nikki. This was one stubborn salon she just couldn't save.
-
Off Your Effing Rocker
Silverlake's Refuge was a lazy, inexperienced salon and Tabatha just wasn't having their too-cool hipster ways. One particular stylist brought Tabs over the edge when she decided to only take on one client for the day. BIG MISTAKE. The stylist's excuse? She cut her finger the other day. EVEN BIGGER MISTAKE. Tabatha responded: "Yeah, so?" and continued to tell her she was "off her f-cking rocker." Aaand that's how it's done.
-
Double Trouble
Tabatha had her hands full with Chicago Male, a salon that only catered to male clients. Not only did they have a strict "no girls allowed" policy she was determined to stop, they had a nauseating approach to personal hygiene. When Tabatha checked out their waxing station they admitted that they might have "double dipped." Tabatha of course replied with her never-failing wit, "You come and get your balls waxed and then have somebody's pubic hair on you?" Oh Tabatha, always painting that picture.
-
Wax On, Wax Off
What happens when a stylist spills hot wax all over a pregnant woman? She makes sure her shoes are OK, whines, and completely ignores the client. Apparently that's how things are done at Plush salon. Not on Tabatha's watch! The bossy Aussie took control of the sticky situation, reprimanded the clueless waxer, and proceeded to call her a "f-ckwit," one of the best Tabatha-isms of the season.

When is Tabatha coming back? I really miss her show.
i would like to know because i enjoy her show much. i hope they bring her back soon
Is there a season 3? If so, can you please email me the date and time?
When does season 3 start? My husband and I are going through withdrawal.
I cannot understand the owners who call her in yet fight her tooth and nail when she shows up.
As for what I think about Nikki.... I'd rather not go there.
I love watching your show and I would love for you to come to the salon I work at!!!! I think all of us at the salon, including myself, need your direction and guidance. You tell it like it is and you hold nothing back. I admire that!!!!!!!! Kudos to you
When are the Tabatha shows coming back on? Nothing on Bravo for the next two weeks. Is she being shown on any other nextwork? Is there going to be a season 3? Does anybody out there know anything about this? Sent these questions to Bravo, still have not heard anything back. Absolutely love Tabatha and her show. Want to see lots more shows. Best reality show on TV. Also how come Tabatha's show is not in the first set of headings? Your best show . . . . . Bravo
I could only watched her show a couple of times and i LOVED IT!!
anybody knows if you can watch on the internet??
please let me know!
My son recommended that I watch Tabitha's Salon Takeover when I mentioned to him that I would like to own a salon. I now record and love every episode of this show. I have learned more common-sense business ownership and managment advice from Tabitha than any other source. She is no-nonsense, cuts to the heart of the matter and one smart practical cookie!!! It's a lucky salon owner who gets the opportunity to have Tabitha take over for a week. Thanks Tabitha!
I couldn't believe how bad management was here. You could tell from the off Nikki was going to "undo" everything the moment Tabetha left ... which was bang on.
She had this idea that what she needed was some amazing staff. But she doesn't realise it's an environment that doesnt help people to develop, and the "dream team" she thinks should work there would not put up with that environment.
Oh and Ross - I was pretty sure she was Irish, not English!
I love the show. She does give it to people strait that need to hear it that way. I am not one that believes in sugar coating things. I was especially frustrated watching the episode at Miami's Brownes and Co. I have never wanted to knock out someone as much as Nikki. Her Salon will go down and she will probably be happy. She needs to just sell. Oh and her taste in how she wants her salon is horrible especially with those worn down couches that just remind me of her just flat out nasty and old.
I have become totally addicted to this show!!!! I love the way Tabitha just lets them have it. It is great!!!!
I can't believe how poorly Nikki manages her salon. She said this about her staff "they are not my family", well yes indeed but they are the ones feeding her with their hard work. This lady obviously have very negative personal issues that radiate to her work. She appears unhappy, unsatisfied and out of balance. She needs to find inner peace and at the same time external beauty that will reflect the type of business she's in. Ts ts ts shame on you for treating people so badly.
And as to her employees: have you heard about lawsuits?
I could not STAND this Nikki Lady. she was the most negative and rude person I have ever seen but I guess that comes with insecurity since she seemed to point out all the things in her employees she must hate about herself. I'm sorry, but personal opinion, do not put anyone else down for a job you clearly couldn't do yourself or scrutinize them for their appearance when you can't even maintain your own!
phew! had to vent. This lady just blew my mind. I don't care if you have the hottest salon in the world or the most money in the world, but that type of negativity will NEVER be happy.
The bottom line is, unfortunately for those employees and Tab. that salon never had a chance, because when you have that much doubt and negativity you are bound for failure.
i think tabitha and simon from idol would make a great couple. do you agree
I love your show!!! You are honest and up front! Thanks for bleeping out the curse words. My 7yr old son also watches the show. My childhood friend introduced me to your show and my family is now addicted. We have our dvr set up to record EVERY show!! Keep the laughs coming.
I live in South Florida and recently went to South Beach with a friend who showed me where Browne's & Co is located. It was in the evening and the shop staff on the main level couldn't tell us if Nikki still owns it. We are both fans of the show.
I love Tabatha!!!!! I am her biggest fan!!! I record all Tabatha's shows and even make my friend Mary card maker, watch the show when she comes to my house. I get a lot of marketing ideas. I am so inspired by Tabatha that I want to go and start my own business helping store owners in all different fields with marketing ideas and double their revenue. I love you Tabatha!!!!!!!
What a mess this woman was...no business sense what-so-ever. The only thing missing was a can of gas and a match. Obvious she was intent on running her business into the ground. She stayed at home and monitored because she is insecure...most likely has no friends and lives in a cluttered apartment. Too bad, the staff looked like a group of great people. I say "go back to England" but i pretty sure they threw her out to start with.
I couldn't get over this owner. Spying on cameras? That's happening in my workplace, and it puts everyone on edge! Nikki just couldn't accept that she could do anything wrong. It's everyone else that's the problem. Unbelievable! Too bad the staff can't stage a walkout.
I just closed my Salon after six years. I sure wish I would of seen this show before I did. I love watching and I Tabatha we need more of her in the Salon world..
Too bad the staff didn't get together with the gal who could have managed the salon and bought Nikki out. I really think they could make a go of it after Tabatha's visit. Either way she's going to loose her business. "Pride goeth before a fall."
I love the show.... I want Tabatha to come and help me at my salon... how can i go about and signing up??? I live in Columbus Georgia and i need some guidance in running my salon in which now its been 9 yrs on January 3, 2010
