When Nikki Mallon and her husband opened Brownes and Co. ten years ago, it was the hottest salon on Lincoln Road in South Beach. Over the years, Mallon has grown frustrated with her staff and runs her salon remotely, watching their every move from home on surveillance cameras. On the rare occasions when she is in the salon, her staff is terrified of her wrath. The oppressive atmosphere has killed staff morale and driven away customers. Tabatha quickly realizes that Mallon’s negative attitude is the problem, but trying to convince her that she needs to change will be a one of Tabatha’s greatest challenges. If Mallon doesn’t start to respect and encourage her staff, Brownes and Co. may not survive.
