Someone Once Tried to Bite Beyoncé at a Party

So, as it turns out, the events that led up to Tiffany Haddish's now-famous selfie with Beyoncé are, actually, really, really weird. In an interview with GQ, the funnylady opened up about the December night in question and explained that before they snapped that photo together, an unnamed actress tried to BITE the singer.

We'll let Tiffany explain, via PEOPLE: “There was this actress there that’s just, like, doing the mostest. She bit Beyoncé in the face... So Beyoncé stormed away, went up to Jay-Z, and was like, ‘Jay! Come here! This bitch—’ and snatched him. They went to the back of the room. I was like, ‘What just happened?’ And Beyoncé’s friend walked up and was like, ‘Can you believe this bitch just bit Beyoncé?’”

A rep for the singer couldn't comment on the anecdote, but Tiffany made it clear to the Lemonade singer she'd have her back no matter what. “I’m going to beat somebody ass at your party. I just want to let you know that,” she said of the encounter, which took place at a party after a Jay-Z concert. “Near the end of the party, Beyoncé’s at the bar, so I said to Beyoncé, ‘Did she really bite you?’ She was like, ‘Yeah.’ I was like, ‘She gonna get her ass beat tonight'... She was like, ‘Tiffany, no. Don’t do that. That bitch is on drugs. She not even drunk. The bitch is on drugs. She not like that all the time. Just chill.’”

Since this person remains anonymous, Chrissy Teigen, much like the rest of us, really wants the name to come out eventually.

PEOPLE notes that Tiffany has slowly been peeling back the layers on that night in several interviews, including one with Vulture in which she explained how the singer calmed her down ("I said, ‘I’m only going to have fun if you take a selfie with me.’ She said, ‘Okay,’ and then she buried her face in my wig.") and also in an interview with TV One’s UNCENSORED shared that same actress tried to get handsy with Jay.
