Andy Cohen and Miley Cyrus now have something else in common—besides being awesome. They will both be honored by amfAR at the sixth annual Inspiration Gala.
The event will take place on June 16 at Spring Studios in New York City. Both Andy and Miley will take home the Inspiration Award for their support in the fight against AIDS.
The bash will be black tie (or whatever Miley's version of that is) and will include such highlights as a fashion show, live entertainment and auction, Variety reports.
Andy has been a supporter for the foundation for over 10 years, working with amfAR on various events. He is also a member of the board of directors for the crisis center foundation, Friends in Deed, which works with those with life-threatening illnesses.
Miley is being recognized for her support of amFar as well as her work with the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, the Elton John AIDS Foundation as well as her role as a spokeswoman for MAC's Viva Glam lipstick line. Proceeds from the lipstick line go to MAC AIDS Fund.
The event takes place in the middle Andy's tour with Anderson Cooper, AC2: Deep Talk and Shallow Tales, which kicked off last month. The trek, which gives fans a "peek behind the curtain" of their friendship as well as pop culture, has dates lined up right through June.
