Andy Cohen's Haircut: The Details!
Exclusive: Andy talks about his stylish new 'do and what inspired it.
There hasn't been a haircut this buzzy since Felicity, or maybe "The Rachel," and it's none other than Andy Cohen who is making waves with his stylish new 'do.
Andy debuted his new look on Watch What Happens Live last night (new cut on the left in the above photo), and if you thought it was just a one-episode hairdo for the Jersey Shore ladies, think again. In fact, the Jersey gals and even hair connoisseur Pauly D loved Andy's new look. It's even caused quite the conversation on Twitter, so we decided to check in with Andy about how his sassy cut came to be. Here's what we found out:
How’d the new 'do happen? Was it your call, or did the stylist come up with it?
I was at a photo shoot and a very cool hair professional worked my weave into a frenzy. He came up with it ant it was fun for me because I never really envision my hair as anything but what it is.
People are loving it on Twitter and they really dug it on Play Live last night. Were you expecting it to be such a big talking point?
People love to throw their opinions around on social media -- that's what it's for -- and I know people love to judge my guests so I was cool with going under the microscope.
What would you call the look if you had to give it a name or category? Can we call it "The Andy" for now?
Yes, you may call it that. I have to think about a name in the meantime.
You said on WWHL that your parents texted to tell you they didn’t like it. What did they say?
She texted during the show "Oy, your hair :-(" and I said "I'm good with it" and she responded "well we aren't fond of it." That was the end of the conversation.
What would be the next bold hairstyle choice for you. Would you ever shave your head?
I used to love a buzz cut. And I keep it too short -- I would like to grow it out. And I want a mustache. And I will probably not do any of those things.
