It's a big day for Aviva Drescher and her family: their first magazine cover story is out, and the Drescher clan couldn't be more picture perfect for their newsstand debut!

In a revealing profile for Bella Magazine (check it out below), Aviva opened up more than ever before about her exciting year ahead—including the release of her memoir Leggy Blonde, which chronicles her life and the tragic childhood accident that caused her to lose her leg. The book is the biggest thrill for her at the moment. "After hearing some of the stories about my life, the Simon and Schuster executives were falling off their chairs," she says. "It wasn't until I started writing and looking at things objectively that I realized how complicated my life had been at times and how I just plowed through it."

Aviva's personal journey and family life weren't off-limits, either. Aviva's proud of the fact that her storyline on The Real Houswives of New York City as an amputee has made a difference in some viewers' lives. "I've always believed life without limbs is limitless," she says.

"The awareness I provide and hope I give to amputees and their families just being on the show is tremendous," she adds. "One of the main reasons I agreed to be on the show and allow my family's life to be on display was so I could help create a more visible platform to raise awareness for amputees, as well as others struggling with any physical impediment or challenge."

As for her adorable kids, Mommy's "special leg" is not a huge deal, nor are the conflicts that arise when the RHONY cast butt heads on the show. "Children learn by example and one of the life lessons I try to teach them is about conflict," she says. "Whether they see an episode of the show or conflict of any sort, I want them to understand that while such situations exist, people resolve their issues and move on … Honesty and integrity in our home is extremely important; we teach them to give back."

And on top it all off, she looks drop dead gorgeous on the cover and in the story spread.
