Aviva Drescher on Being Lucky in Love
"He's my best friend, he's my love, and partner in every way," she swoons.
Six years later and The Real Housewives of New York City's Aviva Drescher is still giddy as a newlywed.
"When he comes through the day at night from the office we are all like climbing over each other trying to be the first one to give him a hug and a kiss. He's the rock of the whole family," Aviva tells The Examiner about life with her investment banker hubby Reid, whom she met in Bed Bath & Beyond when her toddler son began playing with his young daughter.
"He is really the father to my son Harrison, Harry's child. Reid gives so much to Harrison in every way, simple things like taking him to the dentist, to school, and teaching him from right and wrong. He's like Harrison's father in many ways and the father of the other three children that we have," says the stay-at-home Upper East Side mom.
And – passing on the good marital karma – Aviva continues revealing her secret to such glowing Mr. and Mrs. bliss, "We believe that the family structure needs to start at the top with a very strong marriage and the rest will all work out after that…He's a very important person in my life and he's my best friend, he's my love, and partner in every way."
