A Bachelor in Paradise cast member believed to be involved in an act of misconduct that halted production of the show has gone public with her recollection of what happened.

In a statement provided to PEOPLE, 25-year-old Corrine Olympios said that she considers herself a "victim" of "something bad" that happened on June 4, but she has "little memory of the night."

Reports surfaced that Olympios engaged in intimate activity with another cast member after drinking on set at a resort near Puerto Vallarta on June 4. Production company Warner Bros. announced the next day that an internal investigation was underway.

“As a woman, this is my worst nightmare and it has now become my reality," she said in the statement. "As I pursue the details and facts surrounding that night and the immediate days after, I have retained a group of professionals to ensure that what happened on June 4 comes to light and I can continue my life, including hiring an attorney to obtain justice and seeking therapy to begin dealing with the physical and emotional trauma stemming from that evening."

Meanwhile, TMZ reports that the other cast mate who is allegedly involved wants video footage released to prove his innocence.
