Danny Kisses a Charter Guest on Below Deck Med: What Would Captain Lee Do?

The #BelowDeck boss weighs in on #BelowDeckMed's latest scandal.

Captain Lee Rosbach may not be a part of Below Deck Mediterranean, but the Below Deck fearless leader still has a few — OK, many — opinions on the Ionian Princess crew, especially after Tuesday night's doozy of an episode. Once a captain, always a captain, you know?

How to Watch

Captain Lee live tweeted the latest episode of Below Deck Med, and he was pretty shocked at how all of the men acted around the bevy of models from the Tilted Kilt on board. "Are all of you guys really that full of yourselves, you can smell the testosterone in the air," he tweeted. "Act like [you've] seen beautiful women before."

In particular, Captain Lee had some, shall we say, constructive criticism for deckhand Danny Zureikat, who seemed to be more preoccupied with socializing with the ladies than doing his job, even though he knew that was a big no-no. "He hears, but he does not listen," Captain Lee told one Twitter follower about Danny. "My guess is that it will cost him."

When Danny had an intimate conversation with one of the models on the beach (clip above), telling her about the former gap in his teeth, it looks like Captain Lee couldn't help but deliver one of his classic one-liners. "Danny, the only gap I see right now is between your ears, c'mon show some self control and professionalism, please," he wrote.

So if Captain Lee was at the helm of the Ionian Princess, would he have given Danny a plane ticket home for cuddling up to a charter guest? "Not my circus and not my monkeys or my call," he told one Twitter user. "I'm just an informed observer making some observations."

The captain also wouldn't comment on whether or not he would have sent Danny and Bobby Giancola home for inviting a couple of ladies onto the ship the night before. But he did say that "most viewers know how I operate. [It's] pretty black and white, tempered with empathy."

All in all, Captain Lee doesn't think Danny is a bad deckhand, really. "He is painful to watch, because he has so much potential that seems to be channeled in the wrong direction," he tweeted.

And Captain Lee didn't just single Danny out. He also had some (harsh) words of wisdom for his fellow deckhand Jen Riservato if she wants to get ahead in the industry. "Jen, he may be nitpicking, but suck it up cupcake, its yachting, and you are on the bottom rung, you need to do it better and smile while," he said in reference to Jen's complaints about her boss Bryan Kattenburg.

We can't wait to see what else Captain Lee has to say about the rest of this season of Below Deck Med. It'll be just enough to tide us over until he returns for another high seas adventure when Season 4 of Below Deck premieres in the fall.

Until then, admire the Stud of the Sea and the rest of the Below Deck crew through the years, below.
