Your First Look at Below Deck Season 6!

Season 6 of Below Deck is going to include many firsts for the series when it premieres on Tuesday, October 2 at 9/8c. The crew is heading off to Tahiti for the first time, and we'll also welcome the first man to the interior crew, steward Josiah Carter. But there was one thing we caught a glimpse of in the above trailer for Season 6 of Below Deck that we never thought we'd see.

How to Watch

Watch Below Deck on Bravo Mondays at 9/8c and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo App.

The supertease ends with a rare display of emotion from Captain Lee Rosbach. The Below Deck boss appears to be visibly choked up during one of his confessional interviews. He then says, "I need a minute," before exiting the screen. "The event that caused that to happen just rocked my world and not in a good way," Captain Lee teased about the upcoming misty-eyed moment while discussing his new book, Running Against the Tide: True Tales from the Stud of the Sea, with The Daily Dish over the phone earlier this month. "In my 30 years, 30-plus years of yachting, nothing like that’s ever happened to me before. That was a first, and I hope it never happens again."

Luckily, Captain Lee's first time in Tahiti was an exciting experience overall. "I’m not quite sure how to describe it except it feels like you’re going back in time, and it kind of reminds me of, you know, the opening scene of Jurassic Park when you’re first coming in there," he said. "Just being there is an adventure. I mean, that’s a bucket list item for anybody in this world that has any kind of sense. Bucket list, Tahiti, yeah, must do."

Captain Lee also said that "Josiah was a welcome addition" to the crew this season. "I thought he was funny as hell," he shared. "He had some surprising antics, to say the least."

So can we really expect this to be the best season of Below Deck ever as Kate Chastain has teased? "I would agree with that wholeheartedly," Captain Lee said. "There’s just so much material that I don’t know how you decide when to put what out and what stays behind."

We are so ready for whatever next season of Below Deck brings.
