Bethenny Frankel Addresses Those Cancer Rumors
The #RHONY entrepreneur cleared up reports about her health scare.
One of the biggest shockers to come out of the supertease for Season 8 of The Real Housewives of New York City was that Bethenny Frankel will be dealing with a health scare. The Skinnygirl mogul reveals that she will have to undergo a surgery and inquires about a living will in the clip, above.
Though Bethenny hasn't revealed what the illness is, she told PEOPLE last month that she is "facing a women's health issue that many women can relate to." Since then, rumors have spread that Bethenny had cancerous fibroids removed, but she is now putting those reports to rest. "I don't have cancer," Bethenny told ET. "I don't even like that that word is sort of out there."
Bethenny has only been thinking about her 5-year-old daughter throughout this whole ordeal. "It's really important to stay strong for my daughter," she said. "If you have a health issue, and you have a child, it makes you think all these different things you would never normally think."
Bethenny also told ET that while she is doing OK these days, she has "had moments of not being OK." "I have a couple of different female issues going on at the same time that have created kind of the perfect storm, so I am dealing with it," she said.
