Bethenny Frankel Says She Was a "Pit Bull" at the RHONY Reunion
"I was on fire. I was lit up," the #RHONY mogul teased of the upcoming sit-down.
This season's Real Housewives of New York City reunion is quickly approaching, and if Bethenny Frankel and Carole Radziwill's recent chat on Radio Andy's B Real with Bethenny is any indication, you're going to want to buckle up for what the Skinnygirl mogul has dubbed an "insane ride."
Bethenny teased that she really let loose during the upcoming sit-down with Andy Cohen. "So we just had the reunion, and I think I'm going to be joining Bernie Madoff in a jail cell. So I think it might be time. Like, I honestly do think that they may come take me away in an orange jumpsuit, or I'd like to request fushia," Bethenny joked. "But I definitely did not hold back on the reunion."
Carole agreed, saying that on a scale of 1 to 10, Bethenny was a 12 when it came to how she acted. "I've never seen you so gangster," she said. "You were, like, OG OMG."
But that's not to say that Bethenny was particularly proud of her behavior. "I texted NeNe [Leakes], and I was like, 'Sweetie, open your legs to married men because I'm coming in,'" Bethenny joked, referring to The Real Housewives of Atlanta's infamous Season 1 reunion read of Kim Zolciak-Biermann.
It sounds like revisiting the moment Bethenny called Luann a "whore" this season will reignite their beef. "We didn't go in the right direction, let's just put it that way," she said. "I think I'm definitely going to be Luann's Maid of Honor... not! I don't think I'm going to be allowed in Florida."
Even though this season's reunion wasn't Carole's first rodeo, she was still taken aback by what went down. "This is my fourth reunion, and this one, even more than last year when Luann was, like, saying such bullsh** about me, about Adam [Kenworthy] and everything, I left this reunion feeling gross. Like, I literally had to take a hot shower," she said.
Bethenny agreed adding, "It took me a week. I felt disgusting. I felt drained."
You can imagine why when you hear about how enraged Bethenny got during the sit-down. "Something happened at the reunion that set me off to the point that I saw red and did not come out of flames for the whole, entire day. I was on fire," she said. "I was lit up."
Carole and Bethenny both said they thought their RHONY castmates weren't always telling the truth during the reunion. "It's hard to sit there and then listen to some of the other cast just say just a load of bullsh**," Carole said. "I can't believe the lies that happened."
Bethenny said one of Luann's accusations was especially unfathomable. "I've never really had anyone accuse me of anything like that," she said.
All in all, expect to see Bethenny like you've never seen her before. "I definitely took some hits this season. I definitely felt like people were messing with my business, and I was definitely a pitbull," she admitted. "I thought I'd be calm at the reunion, and I was even more of a pit bull or a Rottweiler, if you can imagine that."
But before we get to this season's reunion, there's plenty more drama on the way. We can only imagine this moment will be a hot topic at the reunion.
