As Andy Cohen put it on last night's Watch What Happens Live, he knew Bethenny Frankel before she was "Bethenny"—as an original cast member on Real Housewives of New York City, years prior to the Skinny Girl line, and before she had her own talk show.
Today, Frankel is a wildly successful businesswoman, so a call-in viewer asked for some career advice: What would Bethenny tell her 25-year-old self to help get her to where she is today?
"I would say that all roads lead to Rome, and you just have to treat everything as your business," the OG RHONY star says.
Her best tip: Do your best at every job you take, no matter what it is.
"When you're younger, you think, 'Oh, I don't have to learn this, I'm never going to need it.' Or if you work as a waitress in a restaurant, you feel like you're beneath it," she says. "I have hired people who have been bus people at restaurants, who have been coat check girls. You just have to treat everything as if it's the most precious job in the world. If you're getting coffee, you be the best coffee getter, because someone will notice, and the cream rises to the top."
Watch Bethenny Frankel share the inspirational advice and tell us in the comments: What do you think of Bethenny's path to becoming a mogul?
