On Season 6 of Vanderpump Rules, fans were introduced to some new faces and one of those belongs to SUR's new hostess, Billie Lee. Billie, who is no stranger to podcasts, sat down with The Daily Dish podcast to discuss her take on her new friends and their complex relationships.
Billie revealed that she has been frustrated in the past watching women stay in relationships after being treated poorly by their significant others. "Like, even my mom, my mom was in a nasty relationship. I'm like, 'You're so stupid!'"
But then she started to see just how complicated relationships really are. "Then I became this stupid girl where I was madly in love with someone who had disrespected me and just wasn't really kind, and did some mean things, and I still took him back," Billie recalled.
The personal experience gave Billie a different perspective than the other SURvers on Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright's relationship following the revelation that he cheated on her. "I'm just encouraging her to love herself and be happy, and if he makes her happy, then I'm all for that."
Billie reported the couple seems to be in a good place right now, "They seem really happy right now, like even on social media and when we all hang out together," Billie said. And in contrast to some of their other friends in the group, Billie explained she sees the good in Jax: "I think Jax has an amazing soul ... I just think that we have these human bodies, these human experiences, and, you know, sometimes we're f---ed up and sometimes, you know, life f---s us up ... And he has to heal through that, and with yoga, meditation, and going within and that's his journey. And I think it's cool that he has a co-pilot on his journey through this and he has someone so sweet, so kind, amazing, sexy, like props to him, you know."
