Blizzard Takes Kelly Bensimon for a Spin
NYC Housewife finds out how bad the roads really are.
As this week's blizzard iced over the East coast, most Bravolebrities were bundled up warm, safely hiding from the two feet of snow that graced the tri-state area. Kelly Bensimon was not so lucky.
The Real Housewives of New York City star told her Twitter followers this morning: "During the blizzard, we spun out in my Mercedes on the LIE. I was petrified. It was like skating not driving. I need a #safe car"
Kelly continued, "[The] most dangerous times to drive are when it starts to snow/ rain. We were driving home as the blizzard started. did a 360. so scary"
The snow caused Kelly's car to do a 360, and the Housewife to do a 180 -- the previous afternoon, she had gushed about how much she liked snow, ranking it right up there with her kids, dogs, horses, and love itself. Kelly even expressed her urge to join the Polar Bear Club, the winter swimmers infamous for their cold water plunges. Now, maybe not so much.
