Mark your calendars, because Emmy and Golden Globe-winning actor Bryan Cranston will sit down with James Lipton on Inside the Actor's Studio later this month. The man responsible for bringing Walter White to life will chat about everything from the trajectory of his iconic character ("…they were rooting for him to cook crystal meth") to what led him into the world of acting to begin with. “I was 22 years old, and I said, ‘Okay, I’m going to become an actor, this is what I’m going to do with my life…sink or swim, I’m all in," he explained.
“Bryan Cranston's astonishing record of roles and awards speaks for itself,” James said. “And on our Inside the Actors Studio stage, Bryan spoke for himself, eloquently, movingly, wisely, and unforgettably.”
In addition, the film, television, and theatre star will open up about his role in the recently released Trumbo, in which he plays the blacklisted Hollywood screenwriter Dalton Trumbo. "I love this movie; it’s an important film, not just in our industry," Bryan says. "It’s a cautionary tale, that this kind of behavior cannot work, should not work, and if you sense it, you need to stand up and voice your opinion.”
Inside the Actors Studio with Bryan Cranston will air on Wednesday, November 25 at 8/7c.
