Cameron Diaz Says It's "True Love" With Husband Benji Madden
The actress thinks being married to the rocker is the best.
Cameron Diaz is out promoting her book, but is also shouting her love from the rooftops.
The 43-year-old actress, who has penned a new book about growing older, called, The Longevity Book: The Science of Aging, the Biology of Strength, and the Privilege of Time, sweetly dedicates it to her husband of over a year, Benji Madden, and it’s pretty mushy.
"I never knew what love was until I found you," the usually private star writes. "How did I ever live without your love, your friendship, your brilliant mind, your genius sense of humor, and your enormous, loving, beautiful heart? Thank you for being my best friend, my teacher, my partner in life. You inspire me every day with your courage and devotion. Thank you for all the support and encouragement in this book and everything in life. I love you forever and ever."
The couple got hitched in the backyard of Cameron’s Los Angeles home in January 2015 and have looked blissful ever since. They were only engaged for a few months before tying the knot, having been set up through Cameron’s now sister-in-law Nicole Ritchie, who is married to Benji’s brother Joel Madden.
Cameron also stopped by Andy Cohen's SiriusXM show, Radio Andy, to gush about her rocker husband.
”We were engaged probably two and a half, three months," she revealed. "It's one of those things where everybody tells you, 'You just know when you know.' And I was always like, 'What does that mean? What does that mean?' Oh, I get it. You just know when you know. You're my husband. Nothing matters now that I have my husband. No one compares. Everything else kind of washes and slips away."
Cameron’s exes include Alex Rodriguez, Justin Timberlake, Jared Leto, and Matt Dillon.
