As the hostess with the Moroccan mostest, LuAnn de Lesseps has seen her fair share of squabbles. "I planned this amazing dinner in the desert for the girls and instead of enjoying the incredible food and atmosphere, all hell broke out in typical Housewives fashion," she wrote in her blog.
But LuAnn is hoping you don't have to follow in her footsteps; she's sharing tips on how to keep your soirees as drama free as possible. "Gracious guests never air their differences at a party!" she says in her latest column for OK! Magazine. (Well, non-Housewives, anyway.) "If you are having a small gathering where all the guests interact, invite one or the other person. If the party is large, you can invite both, but tell them ahead of time to leave their drama with the coats at the door."
If that doesn't work? Don't have a pity party regarding your poor hosting skills, she says. "Ultimately, you can't control how your guests will behave at your party but if your friends respect you, they will keep their conflict to themselves so that your guests can relax and enjoy your hospitality."
Easier said than done, LuAnn. Watch a preview of tonight's installment of the ladies' Moroccan trilogy:
