Captain Lee Dishes on Below Deck's New Season

He also reflects on his new life as a reality star.

The hijinks on the high seas are back—Below Deck returns to Bravo tonight. And Captain Lee Rosbach promises that the show's season premiere will, thankfully, include "shenanigans."

But he isn't revealing just who is to blame for the mischievous behavior during the season two premiere.

"I think if I'm completely honest, when you have young, good looking, young, educated, did I say young, people living together and working hard, in exotic locations with a lot of disposable income, you are going to have shenanigans," he told Cartermatt.com. "To just attribute them all to [aforementioned crew member] might be a bit unfair and as far as how much more of that is to come—I guess you will have to tune in to find out!"

This season Captain Lee will be joined by returning crew Ben Robinson, Kat Held and Eddie Lucas. Several new crew members will also appear on the show this season: Kate Chastain, brother-sister duo Kelley and Amy Johnson, and Andrew Sturby. The crew will be setting sail on the Ohana (a $10 million private, luxury yacht) where they will once again have to cater to their wealthy clientele.

So, did he ever have any reservations about being filmed? Well, the good Captain admits that when he was initially approached to do the show, he really loved the concept of giving fans an inside look at what it's like to work on a boat.

"The show concept intrigued me and I loved the idea of having viewers see the inner workings of this industry—the good and the bad. I never harbored any aspirations to become a "reailty tv star," and I still don't see myself as one," he shared. "When we were approached to do the show, it was just the boat that they were after, but when they saw the amount of experience I had they ultimately became interested in having me as the captain of the ship. I let them know that I would be more than happy to accommodate what ever they needed to make the charter and the series work. One thing led to another and there I was."

With that in mind, would he be down to have the cameras follow him for another season of "Below Deck"? "Of course I would! It has been a great experience for me, one I would not liked to have had pass me by without taking a shot at," he said.

The "Below Deck" season premiere airs tonight at 9p ET/PT.
